Down to the Core is a 2D automation puzzle game. Your main goal is to bring Super Iron, a very well desired resource, to the core of the residing planet it is being produced in. The core has very good smelting properties that we can use to build bigger and better technologies, and we need you to bring it to the core with your engineering prowess. Along the way you'll encounter many obstacles, such as rocks and worms. We need you to solve these issues and make a clear path for our Super Iron. Engineer, do you have what it takes to bring the ore to the core?

I chose to stick to a limited color palette and a limited control scheme for the extra challenge. A friend of mine was also making a game in GBStudio, so commiting more the challenge than me, but unfortunately cannot finish on time, so this is for them I guess lol. Heres a link to their itch: https://adanteallegro.itch.io/

the iron is just disappearing when it hits the conveyors, there are some tricks I can do to prevent that for individual irons but that doesn't look intended

Could you describe or send an example of this issue?

On the first level, the iron falls on the conveyor, slides to the right a little, then blinks the same way it does when it hits the ground and disappears. there's a trick where i can let it fall on a conveyor before and then erase the conveyor to save one(1) iron. wether the iron disappears does not seem to depend on height.

I am currently trying your example and everything seems to be working as intended on my end. Any chance you can send a picture/ GIF/ video of this issue?

how do you go left?

Right click or B on controller

yes I figured that out soon after leaving this comment, but just didn't reply saying I did.
